Share a Bottle

SHARE A BOTTLE Recipient.

Share a Bottle is another project of HANDOG PAGKAMOOT wherein the residents of barangay San Jose in San Andres will be given extra source of income. We have been collecting empty green plastic 1.5ml soda bottles that will be given to the residents, they, in return will make this bottles into nice Christmas Lanterns which Handog Pagkamoot will buy from them.

I saw these lanterns last year when they decorated the streets of their barangay. Handog Pagkamoot is not only giving extra work and money to the residents but helping as well in the recycling of these used empty plastic bottles.

Upcoming Activities

Other programs that we will be doing are:
SHARE A BOOK (this will be done in May in time for school opening and also to barangay libraries and willl also include giving school supplies), SHARE A DOCTOR (our medical mission program),and BUILD A TOILET (which we will do in one of the houses in Cabungahan as our first recipient). It's going to be a year round program and hopefully we can do some of these projects every month.

So we are appealing to all kind-hearted individuals to please share with us anything that you are not using anymore so we can give them to people who really needs them.

To all kind-hearted individuals who wishes to share with us anything that you are not using anymore so we can give them to people who are in need.

Activity Updates

We did our SHARE A BLESSING project last September 2010 in Barangay Lubas and in November in Barangay Agojo.
Last October we celebrated the International Children's Month by conducting the SHARE A MEAL project, which is our feeding program, to the less fortunate kids of Sitio Pagatpatan in Barangay Codon... The same project was also conducted in November in barangay Puting Baybay in San Andres and in December in Barangay Hilawan in San Andres and Barangay Guinabatan in Bato.
And then we started SHARE A BOTTLE in barangay Lubas, Sitio Pagatpatan in barangay Codon and in barangay San Jose where gave empty plastic bottles of Sprite 1.5 to be made into Christmas Lanterns. We will be buying the lanterns (for their labor) so that aside from recycling we are giving them extra income.
